POLLY

"As a child I was incredibly fussy, I lived on a diet of roast chicken, potatoes and tomato ketchup. In my late teens, feeling adventurous, I tried some broccoli. From that day onwards I was hooked on food and was experimenting with food on a daily basis...

... I have a particular interest in South East Asian food, game cookery and foraging. I went on to train for a Cordon Blue diploma and at the Royal Thai School of Culinary Arts before travelling extensively and cooking in Australia, South America, India & South East Asia. I have extensive private household experience and have worked with some of the best caterers in London and Sydney. Prior to staring Juniper, I have catered for many weddings, from small intimate celebrations to full blown celebrity weddings in Scottish castles.".

MARGO

" Food is a memory. My first memory of food is my grandmother’s hands kneading the dough in the old St Petersburg kitchen and the smell of oxtail stock bubbling gently away on the stove. Russian pies - rich and delicious. All my friends love them. Now, I am the one to cook them and take to my grandmother. On many occasions pies didn’t make it to the recipient as they got eaten on the way. I have more than one story like that....

...Baking is my passion and that is what got me into cooking professionally. After a life time of cooking dinners and lunches for numerous clients and friends Polly invited me to join her at Juniper in 2021."
